OVERVIEW: The Oregon State Library's photograph collection contains several thousand glass plate negatives and prints collected from the Trover Photo Studios, from individual donors, and from the Work Projects Administration (WPA Series 4 : Oregon counties). The collections contain images covering a wide range of Oregon-related subjects.
The Photo Website represents only a small portion of our photographs. Many more are available on a database available to staff. The photos displayed on our Website are selected for their historical value and for image quality.
You may download the photographs from this website for personal use. For information on, or access to, photographs not included in our Web Collections, contact the Special Collections Librarian at the phone number or email address listed at the bottom of this screen.
